Day 141: Take a Break
Dear Self,
Take a break. Seriously, go take a break. Do something fun that you have wanted to do for a long time. Something that might be goofy or fun and just enjoy in having fun and not what “needs to get done” or is on your “to-do” list.
If you keep working and pushing yourself so hard, you’ll burn out and that won’t help you or your family at all.
I know that you are stressed out, and when you feel that way, you like to control the little things around you as it gives you a sense of peace, but that’s not going to work here. To keep pushing and pushing and pushing forward is not healthy for you.
Take a break.
I mean it. Do it NOW!

What’s this? It’s a letter to myself that I wanted to share with you. I’m stressing out over the Coronavirus pandemic and am trying to juggle too many things at once. I need to stop working and relax. I’m sharing this with you so that hopefully you’ll learn from me. We can’t always be “on.”
Sometimes it’s okay to relax and have fun.
And that’s what I’m going to do now.
