Day 292: Set Your Intention
The road to healing from your past takes time and might seem overwhelming. The good news is that you do not need to solve all your problems at once and that for today we will start small. Let’s take time to set an intention.
For today’s reflection, what specific intention can you set?
I invite you to write the intention down, and then to post it up on your fridge, a mirror, or a computer monitor.
Intentions can be healing, fun, and life-affirming:
Take more time out to play with my kids.
Spend 15 minutes a day meditating.
Walk 20 minutes each day.
Read your daily affirmations each morning.
To build a better life and shake off the trauma of your past, healthier habits are needed.
When you go about your day, make the intention something that’s repeatable, easy to do, and does not take too much time.
When you build the intentions into your day, you’re setting the path that you will be following to help heal yourself.
Mountains can be eroded by a trickling stream. Remember that.
