Let Go and Be Free Podcast: Episode 112 (Overcome Negative Thoughts)
Negative thoughts, worrying, and obsessive perseverating can easily pull you down and disrupt your healing.
How can you overcome negative thoughts?
Help someone (volunteer, assist a neighbor, or someone in your community).
Write about your feelings in a daily journal.
Practice gratitude.
Be open-minded that learning a new habit takes time.
When we were kids, we may have used negative thoughts as a way to prepare for the worst in any situation. That survival skill might have helped us when we were young, but as adults being negative all the time might be restricting us from enjoying the world around us.
